(no subject)
Basic Information:
Name: Sigilyph
Type: Psychic/Flying
Species: Avianoid Pokemon
Ability: Magic Guard
Nature: Naive and often lost in thought
Skills: Mirror Move, Thunder Wave, Air Slash, Psychic
Level: 72
OT: Touko
(Slightly more) Detailed information:
-This is a Sigilyph from a world where Pokemon can learn to take on human forms and talk. He has done both.
-...Not to say his human form is perfect. He only has one real eye and weighs the same as his other form.
-Touko caught him after he had spent ages (literally) flying the same patrol route. He tried to blow her away multiple times, to no avail. Due to being caught not even half way through his trainer's journey, he has actually been on her team the longest of her other regulars. It shows in his levels.
-Sigilyph behaves somewhat mechanically, taking nonsense with a stony face and tending to default on overkill for problem solving.
-However, he tries to know his own strength and prefers to use non harmful methods of removing /potential/ threats, like Whirlwind. This hasn't worked so well now that he has become a lot more powerful than he is used to via levelling. He seems apologetic if he accidentally hurts something, but considers it a necessary evil to protect something else or follow his master's commands.
-He talks relatively politely, but starts repeating things when confused, not knowing what to say, or the other party doesn't understand. So he can sound like a broken record.
-A pattern or set of orders is kind of necessary for him to work well. He has spent centuries doing the same things over and over, so improvising is something he is very bad at. Touko is trying to fix this by sending him out on his own more often. Unfortunately, he gets lost on the simplest of paths without directions and often just kind of wanders around looking hopeless.
-He prefers flying over walking and using telekinesis to lift things rather than using his hands.
-Touko would like for him to start acting more like the other Pokemon. Why? Because they seem to be having more fun.
-To try and achieve this, she does stuff like insist he call her "Trainer" instead of "Master" (no success yet), dresses him up in colorful clothes, encourages him to prolong conversations, and gives him treats when he does something well on his own. Whether this, along with being forced outside of his comfort zone, is actually doing anything to change his behavior or not remains to be seen.
